It’s good to read other people’s blogs, sometimes you find information that you wouldn’t find regularly and here’s why.
What’s up friends!
I always read other blogs but I just want to emphasize that it’s important to read other blogs. Of course not to steal ideas but to get inspiration and learn from others. I learn so much from other blogs, like how some freelancers are not getting paid and how the market for bloggers are going down. Info like this needs to get out there; which is why it’s awesome to read blogs.
Everyone thinks differently (duh), but I never realized this until I look at other peoples blogs. Sometimes I stay locally, here on WordPress and check out some info people have written, I also Continue reading “Mundane Friday: Its great to read other blogs”
I got nominated for my very first award! Click to read who I nominated next!
One day while I was catching up on some reading of my fellow bloggers, I got a notification from one of my bloggers, Daze and Still Dreaming. I’m pretty sure she was the first person ever to comment on my blog and we bonded over being Virgos (lol). Her blog always has something delightful to read and I promise you won’t be disappointed when you click the link I provided.
What is the “Mystery Blogger Award”?

2017 sucked ass for me, but I’m hoping that changing a few things, will help.
Lately, I’ve been feeling kind of down, not sure why, but I just am. I have no motivation to do much lately, it makes sense because usually around the New Year, it’s just a sad time of year for me. I was even having plans of just walking away from my blog for a little while and I know I can’t,

Being a minimalist, I learned that sometimes even simple things, such as a skin care routine can be simple. Click to read (www.theloop.ca via giphy)
As many of you know, I love being on YouTube. There’s a lot of videos that come my way and I find myself watching a lot of make up tutorials as well as skin care routines. Men, women, teens, and sometimes kids all have a way of cleansing their skin, but how much is too much?
As a teen, in high school and my first years at college, I had points where my acne was out of this world! I mean it was bad. In high school, when hormones just want to ruin your life, my acne started out small; on my cheeks. To stop it in it’s tracks I tried the popular product at the time proactive. In a rush, (for what? I still don’t know), I tried all three products at the same time and gave myself a chemical burn on my face, and my face hasn’t been the same then. After then, I didn’t think to stop all use of products but I did cut back and gradually introduce each one Continue reading “Let’s Talk Tuesday: Skin, of all types #Minimalism”
A book that I was writing for the Month of November, is not done, but at least I have cover!
Last week I had mentioned that I was participating in the challenge to write a book in 30 days; I did not succeed. So many things were happening in my life, and I hate using that excuse because, you make time for things you value. People spend hours on there phone, watching YouTube videos of people showing what a $4,800 apartment can get you in New York, instead of, oh let’s say, writing more chapters in their book (so not me though). I just couldn’t help it, writing for a blog and writing for a novel are two very different things. I enjoy writing for my blog because I can talk about multiple different things, coming up with a story is hard, here’s why.
I’m not sure if I had mentioned but I recently just started watching The Game of Thrones. George R.R. Martin was the author of the best-seller books, “A Song of Ice and Fire,” I guess some people read the book and was like, yo, I can see this as a TV series and a bunch of other writers by the Continue reading “Mundane Friday: Update on my book…”
Hey friends 😐,
It almost seems to me that every year around the holidays I get sick. It’s almost like a tradition for me; eat thanksgiving feast, talk, nose runs, coughing everywhere, than I’m sick the whole December. It just never fails!
I remember the very first time I got sick around the holidays, I was just a little girl. In Florida with my whole family, (not every single person because we wouldn’t fit), but just enough to where there was a person in every corner of the house we rented. I remember that day like it was yesterday, Continue reading “Let’s Talk Tuesday: Being sick around the holidays”
Do you face time? I did, for the first time. Read all about it! (cheeseburger via giphy)
I thought I’d just share what’s on my mind. I first want give thanks to myself, for preparing these blog post in advance because I have not been in the mood to write. If I stay at least 4 blog posts ahead, I will be good until the end of the semester.
Until now, I’ve done a lot.
