Another how to cure writers block! Drawing!
I don’t know if I mentioned before, but another way I come up with content and stay creative is by drawing. Painting, drawing, digital drawing; almost everything!
When I was younger, the first person to influence me was my God-mother. When I was a kid, about 4 or so, she use to hang her paintings in her apartment. I loved that about her though, she was so creative and at an impressionable age, all the colors and details that she put in each painting, really amazed me. Some people don’t like to read, but me? I can’t go nowhere without a book being in my purse. Big or small, these are a list of my favorites. (ebookfriendly.com via giphy)
Since it’s getting colder and colder, I love to read during these time. Sitting in bed, not worrying about much, just me, the words on the page, and a hot cup of tea. I haven’t been reading as much as I want to, but I think now that it’s starting to get cold, it’ll lighten up my schedule. It’s November 1st! Let’s start the writing challenge off write! Lol
I never mentioned this before, but I’m trying to write a novel. I have about 6 chapters but I can’t seem to generate anymore ideas for the book — I feel like this process is way bigger than how to cure writers block.

We have all these types of things we do to our hair but what I don’t understand is why locs have such a bad reputation?
Ever since I was younger, I had family members that had locs, it was always the older family members though. Coming from a Jamaican family every time I saw a person with locs, I thought they were so Continue reading “Let’s Talk Tuesday: Let’s talk hair… Locs mainly”

The past couple of weeks, I’ve been watching Standford and Sons, and Diff’rent Strokes, because I never really watched them as a kid (because I was born in the 90s). These shows are great for every one to watch, they really make me laugh with all their jokes that tell and the scenarios they go through. While watching this show, though, there are no commercials Continue reading “Mundane Friday: Old commercials”
