Hey friends,

The month of November has been… Okay. I’ve actually been reading more than I have been writing, I just feel more in a reading mood than actually thinking of words to come up with. I have been writing some but I’ve also been a little distracted as well. Wanting to write out my outline but I keep feeling as if there’s a road block, which has caused me to not be able to sit and focus. Feeling a little down about the situation, I almost didn’t want to do the November Challenge, until

Hey everyone,

Since it’s getting colder and colder, I love to read during these time. Sitting in bed, not worrying about much, just me, the words on the page, and a hot cup of tea. I never mentioned this before, but I’m trying to write a novel. I have about 6 chapters but I can’t seem to generate anymore ideas for the book — I feel like this process is way bigger than how to cure writers block.

It’s like my mind jumps around like a toddler asking a thousand questions. Trying to keep coming up with ideas and focus on the outline I just couldn’t do it. So one day while browsing the internet, a website by the name of National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWritMon), that seemed like it would help me.

This is not a promotion for the website, I’m not getting paid or anything but maybe some of you, the readers, have the same troubles I am so why not share my findings with you all. While Continue reading “Wormhole: Writing November #NaNoWriMo”

Hello friends,

Yesterday at work, I got asked a random question. I kid you not, my coworker walked up to my desk and asked me, “Your home is on fire. Grab five items (assume all people and animals are safe — good because I have a fish tank lol) What do you grab?

Uhm… first thing I would grab is my important papers; birth certificate, social security card, etc. Second thing, would have to be Continue reading “Let’s Talk Tuesday: Burning down the house…”
